How to understand JCB Loadall models.
If we split up the numbers of the bestselling 531-70
The 5 means 500 series - Loadall has always used the 500 as a signifier.
31 means the tonne capacity of that machine – 3.1 tonnes in this case.
70 means the reach of the machine so this would mean 7.0 metres reach. This is measured from the front of the carriage to the maximum lift and full boom extension.
Now we can go onto the letters that come next. Throughout the years there has been a few on the agricultural side.
FS – Farm specialSo a 535-95AGS would be a Loadall that can lift 3.5 Tonne to 9.5 metres and its an Agri Super model.
